She Breathed Me In

She breathed me in,
Like a wisp of smoke
Just one breath
Is all it took.

I captured her
With my two bright eyes
And burned her there
With a careful stare.

The moment broke
Like a magnetic charge
And we stumbled forward
No step too large.

And there we stood
A breath too close
And the world was ours
From just that one look.
