Growth without limits leads to devastation.
The quickest way to gain a habit or increase a skill is to do it every day. However, there is a cost to everything, in order to improve that fast you get faced with obsession a lot more easily, and without proper limits and planning the first hurdle you face is ‘burnout’.
Burnout occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands. People like to challenge themselves but sometimes that challenge goes too far and they end up feeling burnout. …
Stay away from ‘Big’ advice especially after that person has just experienced a disaster, related to that event. As in, don’t buy fire-extinguishers from people who just had their house burned down.
At its heart, it’s a kind attempt. If you were to have walked down a road and seen a tiger, for example, warning everyone who’s about to go that way is a kind thing to do. It’s the right thing to do.
Not so with creative or other pursuits. If someone has tried writing every day for 6 months then releases an article about how bad of an…
When does food taste best? Some might say, ‘after you haven’t eaten for a really long time’. Which is a bit extreme, that’d be like saying life feels the best after nearly dying. Well before we approach when food tastes best, when does it taste worst?
The food that tastes the worst is food prepared by a person you don’t know. Which is a real shame since that’s the way most of us get food. Compared to the other two ways food can be prepared it takes much better cooking for us to appreciate food made by someone else. …
I probably run too much.
Petrol and Diesel are inferior fuels once you’ve run on anger. When you’ve told someone to stop and yet they keep picking on a friend. When the limit of your patience has dropped, when all you want to do is confront them. Even a rocket’s fuel couldn’t burn fast enough, but anger can. Until your veins have burned like lava flows through them, when all other sounds have vanished and the only thing left is the sound of your own heartbeat. Anger what a fuel.

Say you’re shopping and come across three great boxes of cereal. One is expensive but delicious though unhealthy. Another is moderately priced but ‘new’, exciting and better yet good for your health. Last is cheap but you know it’ll do you alright for a longer time than the other two and is alright for health but doesn’t improve or detract from it.
Simpletons act by instinct, they think with their body and boy does the body think fast. The advantage of this kind of decision-making is speed. …
Preparing for the loss of motivation
I just lost a long-term habit, a motivation that drove me for over 7 months now. For all intents and purposes, it shouldn’t have been possible. I’ve quit more times than other people have tried and this time I developed a method to keep me going.
I created a failsafe, a group of strategies, plans, and reasons why I fell in love with the habit and skill attached to the habit. It was a fine plan, but it didn’t prepare me enough for the heartbreak of the rejection of efforts in that skill. …
That profile mistake came back to bite me
That’s how I started my little bio section. Granted I created this account in October 2020 when I didn’t actually intend to post anything but actually having had a go for a little while now, you’re telling me people saw that? Not many people mind you but people are people. Jeez.
Right now I’ve changed it to the infinitely better:

Could be better, but I’ve seen the worst it could be so I’ll keep…
Writing is in many ways similar to acting.
One does not ‘need’ to have lived the life of a spy for example for one to play such a role. But in many ways one has to method write, as the screenshot below shows:
How did I make a whopping $0.01 with over 10 articles, find out here.
This is a key step, you want to lower your chances of people even clicking your article. After all only the worthy can glance through the rubbish of your title to reach the gold beneath.
Make sure to put no effort into your profile. Let your articles be a free-flowing mess for anyone foolish enough to check it out to suffer from. Bio? Why write a good bio when you can just write random words about your current situation.
What formatting? Change it up, play around…
Writing or Exercising depends on how you plan to write or work out. Heavy Exercise or Heavy Research is impossible to keep up everyday.
I’ve exercised every day for over 6 months now. Each day with a series of six different activities, the weirdest of which is holding my breath which is more of a passive exercise since breathing holds an important part in all other types of exercise.
Pretty easy, I have a minimum target for each of my different activities that target increases each day but only by a minuscule amount. From starting with just a minimum of…
